OUR WORK
Digital Medicine Vietnam develops practical work at the intersection of healthcare, evidence, technology and implementation.
We focus on building professional capability, supporting evidence-informed decisions, strengthening implementation readiness, promoting digital safety and generating knowledge relevant to Viet Nam’s healthcare system.
From evidence to responsible implementation

WHAT WE DO
Our work is developed across five complementary areas that support the responsible adoption and implementation of Digital Medicine.
Education & Capability Building
Developing learning resources, professional programmes and leadership discussions that help healthcare professionals, leaders, researchers and innovators understand, evaluate and implement Digital Medicine responsibly.
Evidence & Implementation Readiness
Supporting structured consideration of intended use, available evidence, patient safety, usability, data governance, workflow integration and local implementation requirements before adoption or scale.
Clinical Implementation & Evaluation
Supporting the design of pilot programmes and implementation pathways with clearly defined responsibilities, monitoring processes, escalation arrangements and measurable outcomes.
Data, AI & Digital Safety
Advancing responsible approaches to health data, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, transparency, human oversight and technology-related patient safety.
Research & Cross-Sector Collaboration
Connecting healthcare organisations, universities, researchers, technology companies and other stakeholders to generate evidence, exchange knowledge and address practical healthcare challenges.
Five connected areas of work

Responsible AI in Healthcare
Vietnam Healthcare AI Governance, Pre-Conformity & Readiness Framework
Digital Medicine Vietnam is developing a practical Vietnamese-language framework to help healthcare organisations, technology developers and other stakeholders govern, evaluate and prepare AI-enabled healthcare systems for responsible implementation in Viet Nam.
The framework considers intended use, risk classification, clinical and patient safety, data governance, human oversight, transparency, cybersecurity, evidence readiness, workflow integration and post-deployment monitoring.
It will be informed by Viet Nam’s evolving legal and regulatory requirements, relevant World Health Organization guidance and internationally recognised approaches to responsible AI and organisational readiness.
The initiative is currently in development and will be refined through multidisciplinary expert review, practical testing and stakeholder collaboration.
FEATURED INITIATIVE
Our areas of interest include digital technologies, measures and care models with the potential to improve health assessment, clinical decision-making, intervention delivery and continuity of care.
Technologies and care models shaping Digital Medicine
AI & Medical Software
Digital Therapeutics & Interventions
Remote Monitoring & Digital Measures
Virtual & Connected Care
Responsible evaluation, governance and implementation of artificial intelligence and software intended to support health assessment, monitoring, clinical decision-making, diagnosis or treatment.
Evidence-based software and digitally delivered interventions designed to prevent, manage or treat health conditions and support sustained health behaviour change.
Connected technologies, digital measures and biomarkers that support the collection and interpretation of health information outside traditional healthcare settings.
Care models that connect patients, healthcare professionals, health information and digital technologies across different locations and stages of care.
SELECTED AREAS OF INTEREST

PRACTICAL OUTPUTS
Depending on the needs, scope and maturity of each initiative, our work may include:
Professional education programmes and leadership briefings
Evidence summaries and Digital Medicine landscape reports
Practical frameworks, checklists and implementation tools
Evidence and implementation-readiness reviews
Pilot programme design and evaluation support
Research collaboration and evidence generation
Multidisciplinary roundtables and knowledge exchange
Locally adapted guidance for responsible implementation
Our role is not to promote technology for its own sake, but to help connect innovation with clearly defined healthcare needs, appropriate evidence and practical implementation requirements.
Turning knowledge into useful resources and action
